Excellent villa with the most amazing views over the mountains and to the sea. The villa is a perfect place for peaceful retreat and at the same time a great location from which to explore Malaga and the region. In late October the pool was refreshing and enjoyable for the full family. Shopping is convenient in the stores in nearby village Colmenar where the Churrería opens in the morning for local breakfast. Carmen is an excellent host being incredibly helpful and attentive, communicating fast and timely in perfect English. All in all, our highest recommendations given.

De ligging is prachtig; op een berg met een geweldig weids uitzicht. Vanuit deze locatie bezoek je makkelijk alle bezienswaardigheden in de hele omgeving. Het is er rustig en het huis heeft een heerlijk groot terras. Het was in februari nog te koud voor het zwembad. Maar je kon al lekker buiten, uit de wind, ontbijten en in de avond deden we de open haard aan. Carmen is goed bereikbaar en stuurt je vooraf heldere instructies en tips voor lekkere eettentjes in de directe omgeving.

A beautiful house. The view was amazing. The only small problem was finding a taxi that would come to the house because they did not understand the address, but with a little explanation they found it..! Carmen was amazing and gave us tips & responded quickly if we had any questions. We had an amazing & unforgettable trip 🙂

I think it would be hard to find a better accommodation in the Colmenar area with such ambiance and views. We found the location very suitable for day trips to Malaga, Granada, Cordoba, etc. Also, had one of our better meals of our entire trip at La Taberna de Flores in Colmenar.

Fantastic location !!! The views are spectacular, the house incredibly well appointed, comfortable with everything you could want. Outdoor spaces, lovely terraces. The house was immaculate throughout. The pool was bright and inviting, it was bigger than we expected. The nearest town, Colmenar, was a charming little place where we enjoyed good meals and the occasional morning coffee. There is a small churros stand every morning if you like a traditional breakfast. The villa is only 35 minutes from Malaga airport, which was great for us as we had some guest exchanges at midnight. It is a perfect place to relax and spend the day and night with friends in a splendid house with spectacular scenery. Finally, the owner of the villa was extremely welcoming and helpful, which made our stay that little bit more special. I cannot recommend this villa highly enough!

Vi hade en underbar vecka! Carmens hus är en av de bästa Airbnb som vi bott i under de senare åren. Allt man behöver för en lugn och avkopplande semester finns här!

A great spot if you’re looking for a quiet relaxing getaway with friends & family. The house has amazing views, outdoor entertaining areas, pool and enough room for us all. Note, the house is remote and you will need a car to travel to shops & sites. We travelled with 6 and accommodated us comfortably but the people mover was a hairy drive up a steep hill with tight corners. Loved seeing the shepherd in the early morning with his flock.

This was a great house with a large comfortable terrace and an incredibly beautiful view. The quiet environment is very relaxing. Carmen always answered our questions promptly and even sent the children's shoes that we had forgotten there by post.

We were 2 families of 4 to spend a week at Carmen's place. The house was perfect for us! it is big and quiet with the most amazing view. As we were there in April it was too cold to swin, but we can easily imagine that in summer you would enjoy the pool and the breeze of the mountains. Communication with Carmen was super smooth and she answered all our questions in less then 5 minutes each time. we do recommand the house for those who wants to visit the region, it is very well located.

Top verblijf! Super mooie locatie en een ontzettend mooi uitzicht. Binnen een halfuurtje ben je in malaga, en ook colmenar is erg mooi!

En skøn bolig med god plads og fine udenoms omgivelser. Dog er poolen meget kold og vi havde ikke så meget glæde af den som forventet. Men vi havde trods alt et dejligt ophold og vi giver Carmen de bedste anbefalinger.

Maravillosa !!! Los mejores paisajes, la vista! Cómoda, limpia,todo perfecto para unos días de descanso. Sus anfitriones muy majos.
